No problem selling

A couple of my acquintances and I, whom I've mentioned before were drinking some whiskey the other night and of course we were discussing the crappy markets and sharing theories of what is causing it at the moment. Wars, recession possible, terrified limp wristed retail fleeing into the night etc. and my buddy mentioned he sold 10,000 shares of VMD a couple months ago. As you did Gibbons, he sold them in 1000 share lots at market over a few days and in every sale the shares were gone before you could click on 'order status' in your investment acct. No problem getting rid of these stocks if your so inclined but I'm not inclined.

That's the whole point.. obviously if you put in a "market" sell order it gets filled within a second.. that's one of the reasons lately that the stock drops significantly on small volume.. it will fill until there's no buy orders left.. and with so few buy orders it drops easily.. try unloading 10,000 shares on a "market order" and see what happens.. she'll ...more

Where's all the pumpers lately.. where's logger.. he's gone silent.. a whopping 100 shares have traded on the TSX this AM.. WOW..!!! Are you kidding me..!!  Come on logger.. get in there and buy 10G shares so it looks like someone is actually interested in this company..! Then you can bragg about the new share numbers you have.. LOL..

I think there's a decent chance Westcoast has decided, like I have, that it's become a waste of time checking this board.  The overwhelming majority of posts cheer every few cents drop in share price, every conceivable piece of bad news, potentially bad news, or imagined bad news, and tell us how inordinatley stupid we are to hold it at all.  For myself, I've doubled my money ...more

69andcounting wrote "I think there's a decent chance Westcoast has decided, like I have, that it's become a waste of time checking this board.' Westcoast does not post anymore because other posters called him out on his bragging while he was losing tons on money on Quipt and VMD. He also had all his posts removed because they were either offtopic, confrontational or bullying ...more

The gap between you two and longs is not so great at this point as it is evident what market conditions have done to the company and you have outlined the ramifications and correctly assessed the immediate impact.  In retrospect, we might have taken the advice, sold and saved money or even shorted.  Nobody is here to lose money and us saying that we will "ignore market fluctuations ...more

OLe_Griz - I totally agree  there is  no change in fundementals and "Quipt continues" to have no FCF nor EPS. Analyist targets are based on their next year's forecast showing positive FCF and EPS. Bulls think so and bears don't. Simple as that....As a bear I see nothing will change next year or ever for this company in a low return HME industry.....Good luck.... At ...more

Carlito...Ole_Griz bought a couple thousand shares when the stock was around $7-$8.00. He does trade alot. He really has not much to lose so little risk. I think he just likes to post here for something to do. I would not call him a long. Baghold Westcoaster is.....Gibbon's just lies all time, so hard to say how deep in losses he is.... GLTA

Yes, small position now but still down 26%.  However, having made money on it before, I'm content to wait for a rebound.  Will buy more to average down if a trend develops.

I don't recall you providing a prescriptive answer to that question. Do you believe the stock is going down from here? I certainly don't. I'll do what you consistently avoid doing and make a specific prediction you can reasses later: This stock has followed a very predictable cycle for the last several years. This time of the year is always rough on it. When filing time comes around ...more

Adam will: what the stock does will depend entirely on what the market does. As long as we remain in a risk off environment the stock will move up or down accordingly. There is not much we can do about that except buy or hold.

Sure been quiet in here lately.. where's the big blow hard logger..? Doesn't he want to give us an update on his share count or how much money he's lost lately..? Would'nt be surprised to see that ~$6 or under level before any real support kicks in..!!  :-0

Tired of watching the paint dry on QIPT.. slowly unloading stock.. gonna take a while otherwise I'll crater the stock price.. I'll take my profits and go somewhere else.. maybe that will trigger the price to move up.. LOL.. :-)

Institutions buying and you're selling. They finally wore you down did they? This phase we're in, institutions buying everything they can taking advantage of low volume and knocking share price back selling small 100 share lots into the bid will pass.

I don't know whether you noticed this or not but the entire market has been taking a hammering. My bank stocks are embarrassment lately but when there's blood in the street you buy, that's the rule. I've been buying cm with a 7% div. I've also been buying qipt the cross my fingers that it goes lower everyday.
