Quarterhill Inc > Growth Plan ???

Post by BearBullMarket on Nov 05, 2020 9:46am

Growth Plan ???

In order for valuation to be realized and SP to go higher, we need a solid actionable growth plan.

We cannot have the same old wilan one trick pony riding in every year or so to boost earnings, we the F% is the acquistion plan ??? Its been 3 years and not one single action related to the growth [lan has been achieved..this is why we are not seeing $4 SP rising... I will listen to CC but I want action from the board and new CEO...where are we on our strategy ??? this bs about we cannot find a suitable acquistion due to market consitions, overvalued equiyt, etc.. is all bull  IMO...pull the trigger and grow..

Again, happy with the reuslts , but we are missing the third leg of this story and its called GROWTH

I'm starting to think that alot of the old faithful have given up and sold a good chunk into this rally as this message board and the google one have gone very quiiiiiiet. Quarterhill needs to start doing more to gain new interest.  They have lost the ear of the choir it appears.

I think most of us are still here. We're just happy to finally get some return and waiting to see where it goes from here. I've sold 1/3 but that's only because I was uncomfortable with the amount I had bought and have learned to trade a bit of what I hold. I'm holding tight with the rest. Good luck.

$183 million in the bank (when incuding receivables) just stated on the CC. Doing NOTHING. THAT is the problem.

Just said acquistions on the M&A possibly pushed back into 2021 due to covid. So its gonna be zzzzzzzz from them for awhile. Ugh.

Wilander, in response to an analyst question, Paul said it is "conceivable" an acquisition could still take place in 2020.

Wilander, I'll wait for the transcript to confirm, but that is not exactly what I heard.  From memory, Coupland asked: Do you think that because of covid that acquisitions could be pushed back to 2021 or possibly later this year. Hill's answer: Probably. So what is Hill saying?  Probably later this year; probaby 2021; both?  Very slippery answer.
Comment by wilander on Nov 05, 2020 11:56am
Well if we add in what they have not done so far. Its not a stretch 2021 is the answer.

And for the record....it doesnt really matter if its 2020 or 2021 in the grand scheme of things.  But with nothing happening for so long on this front I just dont see us staying at these levels SP wise in the interim as history shows we slowly drop on low volume on no news. Thus when we do acquire/grow a chunk of upswing on the SP is lost. Its bloody frustrating. I banked some profits ...more
