Isn’t this possibly wrong??

I've watched Quarterhill trades for weeks and I feel the majority of TD volume is always with TD....???
possible multiple trading accounts with same trader?
The large volume trades like thousands almost never change the price, while smaller trades do change the price????

Hi Bob. There was a new rule incorporated a few yrs ago. Used to be, first in line would get executed first. Now, cross trades within the same Broker get executed first whether you have the earlier timestamp or not. Therefore, you'll now see more trades within the same broker (i.e. 7 to 7) than for example TD to CIBC Order Preferencing "An incoming attributed order from a broker ...more

Thanks OG This helps me understand how it works but I still think it should always be first in first out. While I'm in my soap box mood, I still think that "anonymous" should be outlawed, as it is probably used to hide mischievous behaviour!!! Bob
