Good luck and hope to see you around the BB. This quarter was as expected, nothing earth shattering. The biggest take away for me lately is we have another lame duck CEO, share holders have been waiting impatiently forever for the Apple litigation to come to an end and or to make an accretive deal. Surely there must be some bargains out there after going through the biggest pandemic in 100 years!

It is frustrating, isn't it Barney. Doubt we'll see him around teh board. Joined 11-Mar-2021. 2 posts. and said "Bye!" Regarding the CC, are they waiting for a signed deal to arrive? juat trying to start a rumour. LOL

Maybe i will regret if they close the Apple litigation this year but with this morning results, i looked at my portfolio and I see better stocks right now on the market (and its not GME or Bitcoin). At least, i did some profits. Yes be patient sometimes is important but in my case, i guess it was not unlimited. This is my opion.

A lot of stocks that have more torque at the moment. Oil , Natural Gas and Copper come to mind. I own all three but have a love hate relationship with Quarterhill so the masochist in me had me buying more this morning.

I also have oil and a LOT in copper. Now compare the performance today, last week, last months and you will understand. I never say that I will not come back in QTRH but i prefer to stay on side and enjoy my copper ride for next few months....

I just realized the confusion, the BYE was more for Bye Quaterhill. After so many years with up and down, i realized this morning that it was time to turn the page for me. By the way, it was a pleasure to read all your posts.

Can't say as I blame you, although the share price has done well this past year the long term chart is atrocious. If Hill doesn't do something sooner rather then later I will be joining you. Over a decade and a half for me. I could handle the ups and downs when we were getting a half decent dividend but over the years it's been lost opportunities that's been the big killer.

lost opportunities is right. but in the back of my mind i always have the thought that when i filnally sell, its going to pop on some good news. Apple settlement or something

What a joke! 8 cents less than expectations for the year, and the sellers are willing to loose twenty one cents. I think it's, advantage: buyers. LOL

The sell off wasn't a joke or due to "8c less than expectations for the year", it was the low licensng revenue for Q4.

Agree that was or is the concern. Hoping the lumpiness with this continues in the other direction for next report. Happy to hold with the small dividend, the lower it goes here the higher the probability it gets taken private.

Yes, seems this treasure trove of patents this bunch of leeches spent our dollars purchasing are not worth much. A paltry 474,000 in licensing fees for the uarter. This is the talent we pay the big share purchase options to retain.

So it wasn't the, "8c less than expectations for the year", it was the low licensing revenue for Q4.Gosh, I would have thought there was a correlation between the two. So, what? One's money, and one's, like, maybe, a feeling?

I am on here because this is 90% owned by retail investors and it has enough liquidity to trade decent position sizes, but not enough to attract institutional flow. And there is no large short selling complication. I can make money here.
