NASDAQ

If and when Mr. Hill and board decides to list,  it will be good ENOUGH for this guy! Could very well be another game changer for this co. The NAS. Can really bring out the SP IF COMPANY IS HOT!

Some just can't see the forest from the trees?

SP is reflecting that the powers that be just haven't filled their quotas YET...... accumulation continues, getting somewhat tiring!
Yesterday price action was stopped! Isn't it ironic that ALL CROSSES must take place at the absolute lows or they walk it to please the buyer!

Oh yahhh this is the stock market.....lol

Amazing! They so recently went through a huge headache process to get out of their US listing and now we want to start it all over again. When Quarterhill was US-listed back in 2018-ish the stock was bouncing around cdn$1.20 to $1.50. I concede that if they get NASDAQ listed there will be additional potential for the stock to get puffed up. But I would add that if they get the financial results ...more

Last point of view mrmoribund, you present a USA listing and producing positive financial results as a binary choice, which, of course, it is not.
Comment by mrmoribund on Sep 10, 2021 10:19am
The successes of non-US-listed Kapsch in the US market strongly suggest that it IS a binary choice--or at least close enough to a binary choice that it's not worth taking on the million+ in US-listing costs anytime soon. I'd love to hear of ONE US contract that IRD got during 2017-18 because its (new) parent company had a US listing. I'd also love to hear of ONE US contract that IRD ...more

Imo, a Nasdaq listing won't change anything to the share price. If it brings higher costs, then imo better to put that money into reaching out to analysts/institutional investors than into a listing.
Comment by Podios2 on Sep 10, 2021 10:42am
I completely agree as mentioned we went down that road before and it accomplished nothing, and lost money to boot.

My vote, for what it's worth, is that Quarterhill lists on Nasdaq only when ETC and IRD are firing on all cylinders. Wait until you have a clear success story to tell U.S. investors.
Comment by HardRockAngel on Sep 10, 2021 5:15pm
I might add that in addition to ETC and IRD firing on all cylinders, we also need another couple of engines firing on all cylinders (other acquisitions) before listing on Nasdaq again.....HRA

I am pretty sure I've said "IF AND WHEN"  Hill and board decides! That sentence covers all your nonrelavent rants.... phew....
Comment by mrmoribund on Sep 11, 2021 11:39am
Yes, you did say "if and when" but the tone of your post was positive re get back to a NASDAQ listing soon. Also, I was mostly responding to our good friend Cabbie, who was even more gung ho on the issue. My concern in doing all these posts is that, based on a few communications, the board might start to think that they had better get relisted in the US pronto because that's what ...more

I agree with Socrates and Cabbie on potential Nasdaq listing. Socrates stated If and when Mr Hill & board decides to list , it will be good ENOUGH FOR THIS GUY.   All of comments on board are meaningless as Mr Hill will make their decisions regardless of comments on board. This is a new Quarterhill and in my opinion Mr Hillis doing a remarkable job. So lets end this discussion ...more
