This is the Motorola case.  The third largest handset supplier in the US. This will be a $50M+ settlement.

This is the same patent at issue as Apple case.  

As we know from the Samsung agreement from the Apple court documents, WiLan can't accept a small offer otherwise Samsung gets a most favoured nation clause. 

This massively increases the odds that WiLan and Apple have come to a resolution and WiLan is signing up everyone at the same licensing rate.  Just as done in 2011z

Skippen was always a big deal kind of guy and this makes sense.

thanks greatly for your excellent reporting and free gift to anyone on board.  Motorolo case will be material settlement in US funds. Case filed in court 2017 for wilful infringement relates to all motorolo products sold after 2017 (4 and 3/4 years in US funds).  Settlement could be announced before 11/08/2021 court hearing.  PS Our patents are worthless by market????????????

I just bought my last 10,000 shares.  Can't belileve the share price hasn't moved more - a perfect example how this stock is misunderstood by so many.  Whoever believes that the entire market is efficient

This is tricky for QTRH because they asked for a "stay" of proceedings and that they will submit a settlement in principle.  So they can't announce a settlement yet.   There is only 30k shares to 2.80 and nothing after.  They will be forced to halt at 2.80 in my view and will have to comment on the litigation.   Still an opportunity to get

I recall 2011 very well. The only major variable that didn't fall was Apple. I then sat in the court room in Marshall TX for the Apple trial. To say Apple was lucky is an understatement. Today Apple us on the hook for $109M so far, pening CAFC in 2 weeks. Base rate is @0.45/unit and Wilan is asking for the original $0.85/unit restored.
