Far from a newbie Socrates. I completed my level 1 CTA designation in the early 2000's. I am not new to this game or against TA, I am just not in favour of how it is being used these days. I know Martin Armstrong makes it seem like TA can see everything in the future, but he also claims it is his computer making all his predictions and any errors are human misinterpretation. Those idiots on Reddit peddle stocks that already have moved.  There is no respect for deep value analysis and understanding of a company.  They will be part of the crew that buys this at 5+ I can only imagine how frustrated Paul Hill and Michael Vladescu are right now.   They just signed the third largest handset maker and investors assume it was worth $5M.  Ridiculous. &

From what I have found Motorola doesn't even rank 5th in terms of phone sales.  What I have calculated is that they have around 5 % of market share or sell around 60 million phones per year .

As announced On Oct1 ,the signings with be part of Q3 earnings.   When Q3 earnings computed QTRH will know earnings and if material and may then adviseof pre-earnings announcement if need to state 3 quarter earnings require advice to shareholders.  Q3 earnings date notannounced but to be probably first week Nov.  The amount of receivable will be on balance

Another reason to believe that the Motorola settlement was significant was Quarterhill`s apparent wish to have it signed before quarter end so that they can report on it with Q3 earnings.  If it was a smail amount they probably wouldn`t have been in a rush to sign and perhaps they would have preferred to bury the settlement early in Q4 so that it was mostly forgotten about when Q4 earnings
