Does anyone know of short position as of Nov 15??

Canadian Insider as of  October 31 was 1,551 million .  The highest it has been in almost a year.

The short sellers take their position when bought financed deal was announced and stock dropped from $ 2.80 to present value ..

Short  Interest represents about  7 days our trading average.

thanks Onlygame.  Short as at Nov15 of 1,736,437 appear amazing to  me. This is the largest shorts balance I can remeber in past year.  Six months ago balance was 170,275 Q3 has met analyts target for EPITDA and should not (IMO) create massive short selling and in addition the financing raised was not based upon company need for cash and in any event cash was increased to over

The dramatically higher short position isn't likely to matter much because most of those shorts will be part of a hedge underlying ownership of QTRH convertible debentures. If an Apple win were announced and the stock went shooting up then, yes, the short positions would be clobbered but the debentures (also held by the hedgers) would go up to more or less offset the short position losses. So

What an utterly tactless comment. There could be any of a thousand reasons why Anna Tosto, even if she were balance sheet rich, might not have spare cash enough to put into QTRH shares. Perhaps tactless mrmoribund but after 6 months on the board she could at least roll her board pay into the stock if she cared about her role in showing confidence in the stock and believed it was a great opportunity. She accepted the role and should know the ownership requirement. I'll give her a bit of slack but if she is still at zero ownership at the end of one year on the board it

Have to admit. Zero excuses here. If you take the position and there is an ownership requirement you fulfill it. And if you dont, the company enforces it or you go.  Pretty simple. This is exactly why i think the board is an anchor. Seems the market agrees. Fix it already!

Wilander, possibly more than any Apple money, I'm hoping for a timely resolution so you can move on.  It's abolutely astonishing, based on your post, that you have never read a QTRH/Wilan AGM circular where it lays out share ownership by the BoD.  Stop whining...please!

And yes, I'd love the Apple win to happen already so I can cash out of 75% of my holdings here. Wont leave more than that afterwards.
