Mosaid Technologies Inc is active a global intellectual property management known for its principal approach to patent licensing.   Mosaid a private company with offices Ottawa,USand global.

Michael Vladescu our current CEO of Wilan was vice-president of Mosaid Technologies.

Our strategic review assigned to bank and investment advisory firms to entertain and solicit offers for Wilan.

Who ever acquires  Wilan ,IMO will want to retain most of staff including Michael at office in Ottawa or US>

Michael knows the value of wilan better than anyone.

Mosaid, put together private  equity financing to obtain Wilan and return Michael.

GET THE DEAL DONE.

Pretty sure Mosaid will be amongst those doing due diligence. I wouldn't be surprised if dd by all seriously interested parties is completed by month's end, mid February latest. Covid caveat tho.

Sounds about right to be on schedule to coincide with Apple conclusion?!?  Right? Mid Feb for Apple decision?

Just a  few factual  points of interest. Aug 2011 Wilan purchases Mosaid for $ 490 million in all cash offer. and guarantees value for Mosaid shareholders. 10 years later a Mosaid a private company CAN BUY BACK  Wilan FOR maybe 1/2 of previous sale if they are highest bidder of all interested parties . Michael Vladescu CEO of Wilan  has a total of 1,326,758 share units

wilan never purchased Mosaid. They put a hostile bid on Mosaid but ultimately failed when a white knight came in to buy Mosaid. Mosaid then became Conversant IP but has since changed its name back to Mosaid. Jim Skippen used to work for Mosaid but left to bing Wilan back from the dead by taking it from an equipment manufacturer to pure play IP.

In the absence of comprehensive agreement with Apple, the CAFC will set the value of what will go into the divestiture bucket and its value. For example, these issues would go with Wilan. 1) iPhone units 8 X and newer; 2) iPhone 6/7 with Intel chips etc if not denied by CAFC; 3) iPhone 6/7 post original trial until 21-Dec-2021; 4) iPhones in Canada; 5) iPhones in Germany; 6) follow on Stanwood
