Blame
Funny how the blame always goes directly to mgmt. Yes some could But the WILAN landscape of patent litigation was side swiped by a politicly motivated lobby of "big tech" to the Obama admin to look the other way! ( there is your decade lost) It is still working.
What do you expect would happen to the patent related equities? That was Not mgmt's fault. They had no choice but to diversify! The second CEO did some good but at snale's pace and left. Hill did lay the ground work and deserves huge credit. These things take time and if you examine each decision you will be surprised to find that they did mostly made the right ones.
At every turn mgmt had to adjust to the changing landscape around them going from litigation to diversification to selecting a nich fit of ITS and all while having new CEO and doing MA!
It is easier to bit ch than think.............

Socrates, its not often that we agree on something but i 100% agree with you on this. Obama administration changed the patent landscape big time. its impressive that Wilan was able to continue as a going concern. Alot of other companies were not able.
