Bad news coming

Why do they have to wait for auditors.  Just release the results as unaudited.  They can update if needed after the auditors validate.  Are they trying to get something positive to say before they release the bad news?

Only a true bag holder would come up with this story.   If it was just the audit issue I can live with that. It is the fact that this audit issue exists in a major cloud of bizarre actions with the CEO and CFO abruptly fired.  And now they are turfing Directors and replacing with new ones.  And then found a banker after 90 days after the call to announce the ITS focus.  It ...more

You're so wrong it hurts to read: CFO - sources say he left because he was headhunted and given an unrejectable offer. With his crypto and M&A background, he was the right guy and they probably threw a black cheque at him over at wonderfi CEO - replaced because QH was way ahead of schedule on their acqisitions, needs to now focus on operational ITS along with M&A.  Audit - EY ...more

Here are the Teck Resources financials just released on Feb 23 2022 for Q4 and full year 2021.  Note that they are  'UNAUDITED".  There is no specific requirement that they be audited before release, only that they at some point be audited. https://www.teck.com/news/news-releases/2022/teck-reports-unaudited-annual-and-fourth-quarter-results-for-2021
