The market for patent sales was $160 million in 2021.  There are $30 Billion worth of patents CURRENTLY for sale.  Only 0.5% of patents available sell per year.  That is 200 years of inventory!

WiLan's Crown Jewels have expired.  WiLan owns a partial economic interest in its patents.  A very spotty track record of litigation with over 10 losses in the last 12 months, including owing defendants damages.  

This is the equivalent of a buyer for a house in downtown Detroit in 2010.  Only 1 out of 200 houses sell and many were for sale for $1 to offload the ongoing taxes and maintenance expenses.  Why does anyone think WiLan will fetch 3-5X per patent what BlackBerry's patent sale, which they couldn't find $100M of equity to support?

What is the compelling reason for any investor to buy WiLan?
