That’s all they got?

An itty bitty license with an unnamed auto maker?

This doesn't pay for the annual rent costs at WiLan HQ.

The only news releases that will move the needle is a sale of WiLan.  But that is not going to happen anytime soon with over 100 years of patent inventory currently available for sale.  And Blackberry patent buyers couldn't find $100M in equity to close their deal.

2.8% yield is getting better.  But 1 year GIC is still 4%.  And CIBC is yielding 5.3%.  Yield needs to be much more compelling to compete with less risky alternatives.

Agree that the sale of Wilan will be the important needle-moving event.  However, vg... You have no knowledge of the size or scope of the license  to support your itty bitty descriptor.  It's my opinion that the license may be a proof of concept designed to demonstrate the revenue potenial of Wilan's wireless portfolio, within the auto industry, to prospective ...more
