Is a 3.1% yield compelling when Canadian yields keep making decade+ highs?  No.

Many quality companies are trading at 4-6% yields.

Absolutely. We're going to get rid of those tolls. People don't like tolls. It will make them happy if the local government gets rid of the tolls. They'll be even happier if local government gets rid of other expenses. Those property taxes are also quite oppressive. We'll get rid of those too. And then there's income taxes. Worst of all. We'll make sure that Washington ...more

The most important part of the article is the reference to bond holders.  A 30 yr project would have been financed at 3% interest rates, it is now at 7-8%. All road tolls will be on hold until interest rates come down.   They cant Finance construction at these levels Sorry.
