Although its nice to get paid to wait Timebuilder, being patient with Quarterhill and going long has proven to be futile at best with lost opportunties elsewhere. I've been here for so long I'm embarrased to say. Will stick around for 1 more Ceo and the never ending Wilan sale.

Hey barneyj44 We feel your pain, been a term holder since the old Wi-Lan days. First BUY was July 2007 & still waiting for a growth return. Held in an account that we CANNOT write off ...so we hang on. ;>( The original BUY in`s as a believer were put away & every seldom looked at. Live & Learn daily as Time goes bye. I suppose I love my dividend also but people here should acclimatize themselves to the idea that there may ultimately be a transition to a Quarterhill that doesn't pay a dividend. Especially if / when Wilan has been sold. Small tech companies generally don't pay dividends and Quarterhill ITS would be a small tech company. I certainly don't recall IRD (pre-buyout by Quarterhill) ever ...more

I really like your idea of a one-time, modest, special dividend in place of an ongoing dividend once a Wilan divestiture is in hand. Great idea mrmoribund.
