what's going on Quarterhill???

the whole enterprise value of QTRH is 165million cad current trading at. the ETC bought at 150million CAD https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/quarterhill-completes-acquisition-of-etc-819338916.html.  And wilan got almost no value .  Whats wrong with this company Management needs to wake up and fix whats broken in this company soon.  They need to earned they paycheck imho?

Share price is dribbling away every day.  Something needs to happen quickly to support this company's share value.  It is just asking for a hostile take-over that would not likely match my average cost of $2.30/share. It seemed to have such potential expecially with courts ruling on Wilan's side repeatedly but their failure to bring it home is making licensing less valuable....I ...more

Actually, the Wilan part of business improved y/y.  In 2021 the cost of licensing revenue was 85% but in 2022 direct revenue costs have fallen to 45.5%.  The ITS direct costs increased by 10% Y/Y.   Have to adjust to the acquisition and it looks to me at this point that the licensing revenue, although bumpy is needed while they obsorb the new company.

They paid $150 million, but it was leveraged half with debt.  Like buying a house with 50% down.  But then when they took over ETC they found a host of problems. 1. performance clause breaches that cost $10M 2. Breached debt covenants and had to pay down debt 3.  Severance costs for Paul bill and Brett Kidd and for the restructuring 3.  Legal fees and investment banking costs 4 ...more
