Quarterhill's loss in the latest quarter narrowed as the Canadian transportation-technology company benefited from increased activity and growth in its enforcement and tolling businesses.
The Toronto-based company recorded a net loss of 15.6 million Canadian dollars ($11.5 million), or C$0.14 a shares, in the fourth-quarter, compared with a year-earlier loss of C$20.1 million, or C$0.18.
Revenue for the quarter was 46% higher at C$58.5 million, and
Quarterhill said it had a revenue backlog worth more than C$40.1 million as of the end of December.
