USDOT announces $62B infrastructure funding for fiscal 2025

USDOT announces $62 billion infrastructure funding for all states

This week (ends October 4), the USDOT’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) announced $62 billion in Fiscal Year 2025 in funding for 12 formula programs that invest in the USA’s transportation infrastructure.

These investments, from the Biden-Harris Administration’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will help build roads, bridges, and tunnel projects across all 50 States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

It's great to see the allocated $62 billion for the USA's transportation Infrastructure funding that started this month for the fiscal 2025. Do we / have they provided a breakdown on how this money will be alloted (i.e., bridges, roads, ITS, etc.)? It's unfortunate the devestation to the transportation infrastructure that hurrucane Helene has caused. Our hearts and prayers ...more

Monte, this is money from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and would be different from disaster relief/mitigation imo. You can see the election inspired piece covering all good things transportation here: https://www.transportation.gov/sites/dot.gov/files/2024-09/BIL.pdf

That is too funny! This news is coming from the same administration that set to build thousands of charging stations in US only to burn through 2 billion and has half a dozen stations to show for?
