Comparison and Assessment

Could you provide an opinion of the prospects and balance sheets of Gear Energy and Rubellite Energy?

GXE is small, but it has a pristine balance sheet, decent management and good prospects. We would have no qualms in holding this as a small cap sector name. RBY is smaller than GTE and has a shorter history. But it has no debt and $27M cash, and good growth is expected. We do not know it as well, but we see no red flags other than size and sector risks. Insiders own 33% and we like the management and board. TOU's Mike Rose is also involved which adds more comfort. I'm holding on waiting for a gusher at Peavine in Clearwater. Other companies do very well there. "well" well , well.
