trying to understand

what the stock is doing here. The past 2 weeks I have noticed some unusual trading habits and volumes. Based on gold flirting with the $1300 mark  and the increased guidance with updated resources and more gold to mine, along with increaed LOM numbers, the SP appears to be manipulated and held down for some apparent reason.
Any thoughts or is it just me that suspects something is happening behind the scenes?

As I noted before, this looks like a buyout coming. Keep the share price down to make the offer look good and keep the buyout price down. Just a possibility.

Hey mylar1...I tend to agree. I recall watching the CEO on a recent BNN review (see link below) and the question was asked about how they would feel about a buyout. I enjoyed the CEO's comment. Certainly leaves the door open for possibilities. Either way, this is a profitable, growing producer with decent AISC numbers. I would not be in the least surprised if the news came out as such. I wonder if this is why the volume on Friday was x6 normal. This is intruiging.

Yes, intruiging indeed....with the volume and associated minimal movement in SP last week, this week may reveal some further activities that may provide some clues. How I see it is that its' all good as we have a profitable, growing mine with record production...definitely the catalysts to see something happen.
