This sounds to me like the Sheikh is playing a much larger part in financing BETonMACE2 than was initially thought.

The more I read this, the more I think funding is a done deal but not with a major pharma as there is no mention of a 'partnering update' but there is a funding update (because the source is already an existing partner??).

Narmac, Give RVX the benefit of  doubt, they just announced a postponement of 1 week for the webcast and CC,  Just maybe something very pertinent and important just occured that is causing this delay?  It can't just be finalizing the latest PP.   When they state betonmace2 upgrades and trial launch that must mean they are starting the trial  soon  and

Agree that 'trial launch' means there's a concrete plan to get this going... however I do think it's going to be through dilution so there's good and bad to come.

QT, that being said and there will be some dilution to fund the trial but   If the betonmace2 trial is succesful than a BP will pay more to acquire RVX after the trial is complete then if they partnered now and received less with a  staged milestone buyout,   A BP could offer a staged  buyout with an upfront payment now and final buyout say $2 billion versus RVX

Agree which is why I am surprised RVX seems to have had difficulty in getting a deal done with BP. 150 mil is nothing to a large pharma for a chance to get a ROFR/cheaper future price.  The only thing that gives me a slight glimmer of hope for still getting a BP deal at this stage of the game comes from DM's comments on Dec 22:  "We’ve talked quite a bit in the last while about

These BP deals are so complex and complicated , especially when you have Zenith Epi to do deal with the Royalty payment structure and other issues  .BP  Deals can take 6 months or  longer.
