I am going to present a dissenting viewpoint - the man inherited disaster out stratification decisions and managed to pull a rabbit out of his hat each time we teatered in insolvency with various very creative re-financings etc.  Imagine being able to do a secondary issue above $1.00 today....  50% haircut with no dilution.  So I applaud his patience and resolve where others might have floundered.

He did inherit a mess from incompetent Delaney. But he sold Ambatovy for a fraction of what they invested, risked millions on a oil well that willl never pay for itself (why not invest in exploring/developing a different nickel project?!) & consilidated assets to one politically unstable country.  Personal fiscal responsibility is non-existent and these people pay themselves as a mid-high ...more

Stealing hundreds of millions from bondholders is not exactly an accomplishment is it. First the shareholders saw their investment shrink from $1.40 to 20 cents. And then bondholders had no choice but to go along with the cut because the alternative was liquidation where no one gets anything. This is not an accomplishment....desperate attempts to save a failing company that wouldnt have failed had ...more
