Do t forget about poor production. The can't control input and output prices, but they can control mixed sulphide production. Why isn't anyone pushing management about this? Why don't you ever mention it in your posts?

Hi, sorry I'm trying to figure something out, maybe you bloggers can help me? There was talk a while back about Sherritt hedging some of its nickel production, I believe in the $6 dollar range? Did this ever materialize? At what price? How much production? Expiration? I don't really see this hedging in quarterlies? Maybe I must be thinking of something else

They didn't hedge, they bought pricing insurance they payed 6 million to backstop 25% of their at 6.50. I believed it was a waste and showed managements lack of confidence in the overall nickel market. cheers

I'm sure they are the only company in history to spend 3% of their market cap on a hedge.
