If we are going to get in the race Ni is fine we can produce ... our CEO has indicated he is looking forward to more in the BM and CM space ..... our NWT Nico project will fill the gap and set up S for the future  https://www.fasken.com/en/knowledge/2021/09/the-bmac-report-building-a-mines-to-mobility-battery-supply-chain

Well they have operations in ft sask. ft just announced they are exploring a refinery site there... could be possible synergies

Well at this point absolutely nothing that I can can confirm ....you would have to go back and look at FT news releases to January 2021 and forward ....there is a inference that the two could be talking unless you know of another "processor" with facilities ...FT claims it's down to two sites to process it's ore both brownfield and one with facilities hence I think they must ...more

I will add to this that the Nico deposit is a 4.5 billion dollar resource as it sits now. It's permitted mine site, and a highly understood deposit...there has huge aboriginal support ( I live here and know this) there is new rail infrastructure in place not far from the mine site and is now operating ....there is a new 200 million dollar all season road being built with the Tlicho aboriginal ...more

As I understand Reportedly 700 million range starting from scratch .... a partner with facilities? We know it will be less both in time and money and time is money.  both mine and processing facilities can be done simultaneously in fact ore extraction can begin sooner. apparently 18-24 months time line and we are producing .... probably 3-4 months to refine process  hi-grade ...more

Leon's ambitions are not driven by heresay - he see's the writting on the wall - the usa shortages can and will largely be made up from Canadian sources - Canada does have a recent CM agreegment with the US and that makes good sense, its my hope we step up as a possible supplier  The climate economy Every industry can be part of the solution — or part of the ongoing problem.   ...more

Thats all fine and dandy. But sherritt ...as far as the US is concerned...is illegaly occupying a mine in cuba that was owned by americans before castro stole it. No US company is allowed to do business with shertitt...not only to buy its products but they arent even allowed to sell anything to sherritt. And no officer of sherritt can enter US without being arrested. In addition, any company in ...more

Well in all honesty since it's been raised... it is a concern and I don't know the answer ( nor do I know if all you say is legit  ) but my guess is that Leon knows it as he is the one who said that he wants into battery metals market and I don't think he was referring to everywhere else besides the USA and Canada.  we are selling Ni to someone and that someone (s) could ...more

Stratochief The EU position is quite clear. If USA does not want the nickel, the EU and surely China will have no problem buying it for internal use. >>>“The EU is Cuba’s top commercial partner and investor, and we have tripled cooperation in the last two years,” Mogherini, the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, told a news conference with Cuban Foreign ...more

I think ridicules to think that with the demand that is coming in battery metals and Critical metals market along with Ni. that Leon would think, assuming it's true that he wants a bigger piece of the BM and CM market, that some how he envisions doing this without tapping into the largest market in the world south of us. all of my speculation revolves around a few interviews and statements of ...more
