Leave well enough alone. Let's at least regain our solvency before we contemplate any significant capital expenditure beyond basic care and maintenance.  The market might be in a sweet spot for the next little bit. Let's not squander an opportunity to get back on reasonable financial footings. No gambles no risks.

Hey Rkhosla, I don't disagree with your desire for S to clean up its balance sheet and improve solvency/cash flow, in fact I would agree with the "go slow" approach. I just wanted to point something out on your use of "care and maintenance" that might be misunderstood by others. S de s definitely not implementing, nor would they consider "care and maintenance." ...more

Sorry yes wrong phrase.  What I mean is just drive the freaking bus.  Maybe change the tires if they are at the end of their life and do an oil change when due.  That's it.  Problem with getting fresh management / new CEO is they want to be heros of some turn around story - putting long suffering sharehokders at further risk.  First show me just a quarter or two of ...more
