Receivables

Receivables solution forthcoming!
Comment by rkhosla on Dec 01, 2021 6:43pm
uhmmmm.....  are you able to elaborate?  I recall we already had a recievables solution in the form of our receivables agreement and that hasn't been as too much good though hopefully the dividends start rolling in soon.

How exciting. What is the Cuban government going to do... pay S the outstanding amounts due in bananas or rum? Give them a larger stake in Moa? Hand over ownership of a few of the state-owned resorts?
Comment by thenorthvanman on Dec 02, 2021 2:12pm
So a solution to the previous solution?  Talk is cheap and only hard profits will move this stock.
Comment by StockPick50 on Dec 02, 2021 3:42pm
I'm not sure what is considered to be profitable for S. Cobalt 66k and nickel over 20k. Wti price drop 10% and 1.28 us exchange rate. How this company can only make a few dimes is beyond me.
Comment by thenorthvanman on Dec 02, 2021 4:35pm
You're not alone, hence the current SP.  They have to show profitability,  period.

What Sherritt needs is a kick in the Axx. To look for and find a big deal.
Comment by thenorthvanman on Dec 03, 2021 2:21pm
No they just need a profitable quarter
Comment by rkhosla on Dec 03, 2021 4:23pm
yes, just ONE.  They talk talk talk but despite pretty fantastic market conditions, they are unable to put the MONEY where their mouth is....
Comment by thenorthvanman on Dec 05, 2021 8:37pm
I'm growing tired of the talk and clearly so are investors.  If they come out with another Cuban debt repayment plan as has been suggested I think it hurts their credibility.   They need to show profits in Q4 and anything short of that is a big failure.
Comment by WanTBe1 on Dec 06, 2021 2:22pm
I totally agree with your facts.
Comment by thenorthvanman on Dec 06, 2021 4:22pm
I think the only think I have said that could be construed as fact and not opinion is that we have not had a profitable Q in many years.  Is this something you dispute?

Define 'forthcoming'.  Define 'solution'. Crickets
Comment by thenorthvanman on Dec 08, 2021 10:43am
As I've said I think it hurts their credibility if they come out with yet another receivables "solution".  Demonstrate collection of money owed during quarterly reports and as a footnote mention any change to the existing agreement.  Company needs to show it is a profitable business no more talk.

what?? hey this was 4 months ago... i think maybe you shouldn't believe everything they tell you on these phone calls of yours.  maybe you are in so tight you are loosing your objectivity a bit.  friendly observation.
Comment by Contrarian333 on Apr 04, 2022 12:21pm
If you listened carefully to the last quarterly call Leon hinted about this very thing.

A friendly observsation for you as well. You have been posting on Sherritt since at Least December of 2013 (the stock closed at $3.70 per share that year.) Perhaps you are the one "losing objectivity"?
Comment by rkhosla on Apr 04, 2022 12:51pm
ok. yes - maybe.  i'm gonna go for a run. One thing I haven't lost is full optimism that we will be sitting above $1.20 come fall. peace

Before you go for your run watch the YouTube video I referenced earlier.

Show me the money!!!! Yes that was good. Let us be patient. GLTA.
Comment by YourFriendo on Jun 27, 2022 11:12am
Did this ever happen? Is that why the share price is so high now?
Comment by rkhosla on Jun 27, 2022 12:21pm
It was Dec 1 2021 that Contrarian wrote 'Receivables solution forthcoming!' and he insists it still is. And yet we have a receivables agreement already whereby we get their share of any MOA divy over a min threshold.  However, Sherritt as a "equal partner" can't seem to convince our Cuban partners to declare a dividend.  But I am told this has nothing to do with the ...more
