I am exceedingly close to giving up entirely -

such a disappointment this continues to be.  If we continue just to languish despite these market conditions come mid-Feb I am cutting my losses and moving on.

A couple things to point out.   1) As I mentioned before this company will only be given credit for results.  Thus far even with      higher prices those have been unimpressive. That said,  I think we'll have a strong Q4 and the market will start pricing in some of these higher prices for Co, Ni and fertilizer that we have been seeing.  2)  If the ...more

As for point number two, if the company felt their shares were a bargain then certainly a few directors would buy some.  But clearly the directors do not feel sp is a bargain at this price.  And if the directors do not demonstrate confidence a sharebuy back is not in the cards.  A buyback occurs when a company feels investing in their own shares is the best use of their capital ...more

Buy backs historically are done at the worst times (ie company overvalued) just as share sales also occur at the worst times (distressed).

Yes North Van man, so are insider share purchases. They are also done at the worst times when everyone else has lost faith but the managers know things will turn around. That doesn't seem to be the case with us does it? Our managers have zero confidence in our stock as demonstrated by their meagre holdings. It's true.  that's my point. It's not just the market that has lost ...more

Sounds like you should sell.

Yes. Like I said I will wait till mid February before pulling the plug. Q4 earnings as you have pointed out a bunch of times will be pivotal.

Well the good news is that directors line their pockets more above 10$. They need that fancy board room in Toronto before doing share buybacks or taking over a junior company. I'm in the same vote, if this stock does not move this year at all time highs, I'm out.
Comment by Stratocheif on Jan 11, 2022 10:49pm
They'll never buy back anything cause they have NO MONEY. Why didn't they buy back bonds 4 years ago when they were 50 cents on the dollar. Why don't they buy them back now when they are 58 cents on the dollar. Excessive debt is the biggest problem this company has but they are powerless to do anything about it....or maybe not. Maybe they will just steal the creditor's money again ...more

I'm with you, they will need a meaningful year end. I'm missing something big here. 110Tons a day production on a NDCC of $4.50 means they should be puking cash cheers
Comment by thenorthvanman on Jan 11, 2022 2:22pm
That NDCC was at a lower Co price.   I expect the current Co credit to further lower that number although it will likely be off ste partially with higher input costs.
Comment by YourFriendo on Jan 11, 2022 6:53pm
I've explained this like a thousand times... NDCC doesn't include taxes, royalties, capex, technologies division, corporate overhead, and interest cost. After all that, there is nothing left for shareholders (not to mention debt principal that will eventually come due).
Comment by Stratocheif on Jan 11, 2022 11:01pm
5 or 6 years ago nickel price was $4.90 or something like that and they were doing fine and a much higher sp. Go figure
