Market cap too smal

The minimum market cap to be in the index is $250,000,000. S has market cap of around $218.9 million, so does not make the grade.  Guess JRV didn't make it as they are considered an Australian company even though listed on TSX-V s well as ASX.

As pointed out by someone already, this tsx battery thingy is an index not a fund. No doubt somebody will launch a fund based on the index. But more like a small fund from day harvest funds than a big blackrock fund, Ishares, bank fund.
