Are you not aware of SUDBURY in Canada...formerly Falconbridge, now owned by Vale. They produce 65000 tons of nickel. That's what the article was referring to, not Sherritt. No one touches sherritt nickel. It's illegal. Tesla/ Panasonic kicked sherritt out 4 years ago so as to not break US law. Recently, Tesla signed a 5.2 BILLION contract with Indonesian vompanies to supply battery nickel ...more

They have told me that all of their production is spoken for and it is being sold at a premium to the reference price.   re streaming deal(s) - My understanding is that the dynamics of the industry are changing.  Seeing some MOUs being signed between battery manufactuers and raw materials producers or even auto manufactuers and raw materials producers but not much that is ...more
