Was anyone aware that our total receivables

from CUPET amd Energas had climbed to $362mil???  Was this a number they had ever preciously reported?  That is almost $1 per share.  Divided by 5 is approx $75mil cad a year.  They mention the target is $57mil USD a year in the press release - at current exchange rates that is $79mil cad a year.  With this amount of cash/Cobalt coming out of the JV directed to Sherritt will the cap ex plan remain self funded within the JV???

this is definitely a long term speculative playas nickel prices are holding up nicely.  I played the last up tick to near 0.80. will start accumulating now.   only real problem IMO is the massive stcok market speculative bubble in the developed world stock markets. the air has to come out slowly or everything gets sold indiscriminantly in the rush to the exits.

It's now more likely to be a chicken stock within a year. BUCK BUCK BUCK. Or at least one BUCK.

Yes they reported the amounts owed - but it  gets messy because of how they report the financials due to the 1/3rd ownership of the power business.  Take a look at their YE FS and you will see the amounts more clearly. The amount they usually disclose in their PR and CC is overdue receivables (which was a partial amounf of the full total owed).

so this is the consummate 'good news, bad news ' story.  Good news: we have a plan manage receivables.  Bad news: receivables are double what you thought they were ; )  lol

That's very misleading... I mean I guess it's a good thing if they actually pay it. More money owed to Sherritt isn't bad is it?

More money *paid* to Sherritt isn't bad.  More money *owed* (especially by the deadbeat creditor Cuba) is perhaps bad.  I suppose it is best to actually get paid versus being owed. Let's see if this agreement is worth the paper it is written on. We will need to be patient.
