Is this the TSN Turning Point?

If this arrangment works out as hoped for it will be good for the bonds and VERY GOOD for the common shares. Now that there is an agreement in place to repay the monies owed to Sherritt via Cobalt there is now light at the end of the tunnel. All we need now is for Nickel and Cobalt prices to co-operate.

Agreed. The deal is positive for shareholders and bondholers, but the real turning point will be the liftening of US sanctions.

I am not holding my breath. Even if some sanctions are lifted it may not include Sherrit products coming out of Alberta. The issue of ownership and compensation may be a stumbling block. I think that in the eyes of the DOJ, Freeport McMoRan still owns the mineral tenure. I could be wrong about how it all plays out though. One option that jumps out to me is a deal that sees tonnage from Alberta ...more
