LME not going to ban Russian metals

Duh. Like the western world can afford to lose Russian nickel supply.

>>>(Bloomberg) -- The London Metal Exchange decided against a ban on new deliveries of Russian metal, in a blow to big western aluminum producers and some traders who had lobbied the exchange to take action. The LME said that feedback from the metals industry showed that “a material portion of the market is still accepting -- even relying on -- Russian metal.”

Verificate Welll now that a big fat Double Duh to you for this bit of nonsense... "And your point by auto and yourself is that the lme studied it and said no but then again the EU will sanction next" You were the one here repeatedly cheering for and literally drooling over the prospect of the LME banning Russian nickel. Anyone who follows the sector knows how vital that supply is to the ...more

Couple of things, LME's market share is considerably lower than it was even 10 years ago. This is important for many reasons. If momentum is against you, are u then irrelevant. Is Finnish nickel Russian nickel? Regardless , Indonesia is set to deliver MHP tonnage to markets. You can call them liars all u want V. Makes no difference to me. It's a fact jack, and the smart money knows this ...more
