It doesn't work that way. Is it 120 Kt of MHP or 120 Kt of nickel equivalent. Big difference, like 5x difference in volume. Clean nickel sulfate (1 Ni:5 H2O) vs MHP that is not quite Class 1 but the cost for CAM plants to remove the impurities and transform to Sulfate is apparently economic. This has been known for quite sometime.  Ford has been signalling for at least three years that

Gives a pretty good idea what Sherritt could be worth.   Interestign to compare to their Moa expansion plan : 77 millions USD for 6500 MT.  This is about 5% equivalent of production of this HPAL plant, 5% of which will cost 225 millions USD.
