Bump in volume and share price

Any insight from anyone into the bump in volume and share price recently?

I realize that markets preformed a little better and that nickel prices didn't challenge previous trend lines on the low end but is there something else?

I'm not aware of specifics but my guess is that the market probably positively reacted to the life of mine evaluation. Also every day that goes on with the stock price below $1 is a buying opportunity. With $10+ nickel, high fertilizer prices, and lower input costs the company has the ability to continue deleveraging.. right now it's just a waiting game until our cake arrives in ...more

Agree. Caveat: below a dollar we are also a prime target for an opportunistic take out.  Especially as we now have activist/large investors on board... and so i am extremely nervous at the momment.  clock ticking to agm.  would not be surprised in least if proxy battle of some sort were to occur.

And Sherritt gets the refinery. Depending on how you value the refinery (which would no longer be subject to OFAC / Embargo issues), this could / will be a good thing :)

Interesting perspective.  While permitting a mine is very difficult, I would suspect that permitting a new refinery would prove even more difficult.    If there is a serious push to onshore production one of these days, it would be be very valuable.    This being said, this add to our margin of safety.
