Yes there are two classes of nickel... so people who write these articles stating that nickel supply is greater than demand need to wake up and stop including class 1 under the same umbrella as class 2

Agreed.  IMO, the use of class 1 nickel for uses like stainless steel production would be like using 94 octane gasoline in your lawn mower. A waste of time and effort, and this would also result in less class 1 available (already limited, and shortages anticipated as ev sales continue to grow) for specialized uses such as ev batteries.  this would definitely be misleading- class 2 ...more
