Interesting call Re voting instructions

Good evening,
Had a first time interesting call from a third party representing Sherritt.
She was sure pushing me to and asking if I would vote for on all three questions.
I'm a long term but very ordinary investor and have traded Sherritt for 20 years.
Somehow by being stubborn, my largest stock holding is Sherritt.
It was interesting to me that when I asked she told me how many shares each director holds.
I was surprised and disappointed to learn that I have more shares than any director.
If her numbers are true Leon has the most at 317,172 and Anna has none!
Not a very good vote of confidence in a company you are director for!!!
Is something up at this years meeting next week that they are begging for votes?
Any advice out there as to reasons I should vote for or against directors??

It seems Clearwater Capital is wanting to put their 40 million shares to work by taking an "activist" interest in the company! Current directors are worried?

I don't think so.  I think their only play so far has been 1) to form a relationship/establish influence w management and 2) to go public by breaching the 10% threshold to try and bring some attention/excitement to our orphan.  If they had an alternate proxy/slate they would have circulated it by now.

I sure hope someone can put pressure on management to cut costs. I've been to the office twice now on work days and doors were locked. I caught a staffer coming out who told me most of the staff work from home. If this is still the case they need to downsize the office space to something more modest. I recommended this to investor service but have not seen anything happen so far.

I also recieved a call regarding AGM voting for directors. I said I would put my vote with the directors recommendations. But to be honest I haven't looked into the options or whom I was voting for exactly. I think it was previously discussed on this chat board to maybe have some more discussion around these votes to get a better idea as to how we should vote on these matters. As individuals

you would think so albatross.  I always vote against these guys. I don't have faith in any of them.  This company has floundered for a long time.  Like i suggested before is it possible they're using the company like a personal piggy-bank.  Basically like the cubans.  who knows. god help us all get out of this financial pergatory...not enough up and not enough

They are simply trying to increase turn-out.  Unaware of any dissenting motions - but they can always be presented on floor.  Past years I have received calls from 3rd party (Kingsdale Shareholder Services) hired by the company.  This year received a call from the company itself.  YES super disappointing to find yourself owning more shares than any of the directors.  Like

Thats a tell tail sign that when the directors don't have shares....where is the company going?  Certainly not a sign of confidence in my books.
