It's very telling isn't it after hearing all the great stories of where EV is going and shortages on the LME etc that this company just can't get it's head above a dollar with an operating mine? Think US EMBARGO! On paper it all looks good with "Forward Looking Statements" but reality is something else fo sho! The Emperor has no cloths! Sell when you can...hope i make ...more

CommonCents123 don't you see how you are equally rediculous? If the company has no prospects, no hope, then just sell. Take your tax loss, and move on. Staying invested in a company that in your own words "is a dog" "in reality is something else" "has no clothes" only because you are hoping to break even has got to be the worst investment choice and probably meets ...more

I can understand your sentiment however I can't afford the loss and i don't see anywhere else to invest because i'm anticipating a recession, higher rates and a market crash. If those things happen, that may put me in a better position to sell given Sherritt can't go much lower and then I could buy some stocks that can help me get out of the financial hole. I hope we all get out ...more

People have long ago stopped listening to relentless positivity.. being relentlessly pessimistic isn't any better, can't you se that? im glad we are now clear that for so for now you see that out of all the options, all the thousands of stocks, GICs, paying off your own personal debt, holding cash etc etc, right now holding Sherritt is the option you see as number 1 Its twisted to ...more

I don't agree about me being 2-faced nor do I agree about Verificate not being 2-faced.  I'll agree to disagree. I do agree with your analogy that Sherritt is being used as a piggy bank for the board.  Stock goes no where but they fill their pockets. I posted about this a few days ago.  There was a group trying to oust the then CEO David Pathe for those same reasons I ...more

Yes I think having Clearwater is a big positive. Hopefully they can hold the leaders more accountable. I also think we can do our part and that is also why I'm on this board. To gain insight into how we as a fellow shareholders and owners of this company can do our part to make it right.

Albatross, I asked you to reflect a bit and i would be remiss if I didn't do the same, so I have. Two things to update in my thoughts and our conversation; 1) agreed I am zealous in holding verificate or anyone else accountable when they are all sunshine and rainbows   when the profecies are empty,  and aren't realistic, and 2) I am very upset and frustrated at this stock ...more

The embargo is probably the most important piece of this puzzle followed by debt. Balance sheets can go either way dependant on forecasts and trends.

Okay thank you for clearing things up. I don't think this q is a complete bust. There's still $40M waiting to be distributed from MOA. US politics can go either way. And I agree that what happens to Cuba and the HelmsBurton act have a negative impact.  I still think stock is undervalued. I'm not in at a loss so I don't feel as gloomy. I'm looking to exit at $1.50 to ...more

The bonds are already cheap...83 cents on the dollar. Garbage company. As always, small miners do only one thing...pad the wallets of the management. 35 cents coming soon I'm sure.

It is not necessarily just sitting there to be distributed. They have cap-ex associated with their expansion/slurry plant etc.  Asthey have stated many times, this is all internally funded within the JV.
