what is your explanation for the resilience? I mean the company cannot generate positive cash it seems with a nickel price below $10 so wondering why the disconnect. they might manage to pay interest on the 2026 bonds, but capital repayment seems unlikely.

Low volumes, not real indicative pricing.

Is it positive cash that they can't generate at $10, or net profitability? They have a legacy of losses and write-offs from past missteps that continue to haunt their "paper" profitability, but I was under the understanding that at $10 their CF is decent. maybe I am confusing the context of the question? cheers, mas75

Well i would have hoped so, but based on the last Q with reference price i believe around 9.25, the reality seems quite different.

Since maybe is your new word, maybe, just maybe the tooth fairy and Santa Claus will team up to help Sherritt and the shareholders who didn't dump their shares. Coal for you rkhosla! Stop being realistic in this fairytale. Just relentless....taking bets on how long it will be before he disappears and is on to the next one?
