As Ive said before, this type of management doesnt give a .... about shareholders or bondholders. Only to stuff thier pockets as long as the music doesnt stop. Well it may be stopping in the future. Instead of paying the 13 million or so of interest on the PIKs they prefer to pocket that money. Think about it. These PIKs are at 10.75%. That means the amount owing willl have doubled after just 7 ...more

Sherritts being used as a personal piggy bank IMPO. These guys have taken more than they've given. The board has been incompetent. I wish the last shareholders revolt would have succeeded 10 years ago. But alas with double talk from Pathe and shameless promoters like VerificateASAP what can you expect. Common cents doesn't always be the path humans take. The crash is coming....pay down ...more

contrarian wants to overthrow the board this year.... for me, maximum anger at them and their composition was 3 years ago... I don't think the board is the problem at the moment.

The company just had the worst year ever. How is it not the boards responsibility?
Comment by CommonCents123 on Feb 25, 2024 8:24am
Absolutely their responsibility. Expanding a mine when there is a glut? Complete incompetence. They should be saving money and paying down debt.

I support the slurry plant. The expansion I think should've been put off until more debt was paid off and I said so at the time. However they have come up with this plan they claim they can dial up and down depending on prevailing market conditions. So I think that was the wrong decision but it has been made. Beyond that I think the board is doing a much better job than the previous. They have ...more

Slurry prep started in 2018 I believe. again...worst year ever. Board needs to change. Period.

Board renewal should be a constant in any Company.  Board renewal should not be looked at as a negative.  Board renewal is an opportunity to introduce new ideas, and new thinking to a buinsess and also to shake up any relationships which have become to fixed and inelastic. I believe we will see changes to the proposed slate of Board nominees for this coming AGM.

Well said.  In fact, as like our political processes, at the very worst it kicks out the crooks and replaces them with new ones.  Get too complacent in your position and you accept more and more of what you very definintely should not. If you expect to get the boot when you do colour outside the lines too much, you may be more careful with shareholders money.

And, any compensation should be based on objective performance of the company....IMPO
