I am not happy with this hostile takeover bid at all.

Everything was fine with Starcore until these nutcrackers came along with their shitty offer, we dont want the offer, we want Starcore to be a publicly traded company and let the management and the people to their thing, Starcore is stronger than ever with almost 9 million in cash, i dont like this at all.

Sprott will still own around 10-15% of SAM. He will participate in a decision.

The immediate payment of approximately $5 million (approx. $0.10 per share) as a special dividend to shareholders would be the defensive solution in the event of a hostile takeover.

I hope sprott and other major shareholders have a solution to this take over problem. The market would need to revalue Starcore fast for what its worth, because a special dividend of 10 cents would be nice short term for shareholders, but for the long term Starcore needs that cash for exploration at San Martin and Opodepe and to have some firing powder in tumultuous times. I don't know about 10 cents. 3 sounds about right and would be fully "covered" by the recent asset sale in BC which they just got 1.6 million which isn't even on the books yet. Not sure if a dividend or share buyback would be more beneficial. Part of the reason the SP is so low is the non-existent trading volumes which makes the stock highly illiquid.
