WTF?

Why is this tanking on no news?
Comment by gpwild on Jul 29, 2024 9:48pm
I see that they posted year end and quarterly results after the close.  Just did a quick skim and they didn't seem that bad. Am I missing something here?

Well, I was just afraid to miss the boat, so I bought a position. At these prices this is a steal!

Porbably the smart choice. I would keep an eye on Canadian Insider over the next few days. The last time this steep decline on high volume sell off happened was Sprott selling off some of his shares. The financial results were ok. No news that would trigger a sell off. Sprott has millions of shares in Starcore and there's no volume in this stock. The only way to get out or reduce position ...more

Correct. The last time Sprott sold I was able to get in around $0.08. Also yesterday at $0.09. In the quarter ending July 31, precious metal prices were again 15-20% higher than in the reported quarter Jan-April. 2024. And in that reported quarter they had a quarterly profit of $0.06. Optimists therefore expect a profit of $0.12 for the first two quarters.... share price currently $0.09. Everyone ...more

Disagree with this statement.  Most of the revenue actually came from their year end income tax return. You are not going to have that be an "income" source in forthcoming quarters. They only were able to get a big tax return because they have a lot of losses from previous years on the books that they can claim against their current profits. It made their annual results look ...more

They are now on a good path, which is paved with high gold and silver prices. The EBITDA was finally positive at $1,088,000, compared to a negative $1,275,000 last year.

No offense but you have been a constant pumper of this stick for years and none of your pie in the sky porclimations ever come to pass. The company has performed terribly and the management has done numerous shady things.
Comment by moorage on Aug 06, 2024 3:01am
I agree with you on part 2 of your post. In my opinion, these last few months / years are sufficiently priced into today's low share price. On the stock market, I like to hope for the recovery of a previously abandoned / hopeless patient. That offers more opportunities than a healthy company at the probable peak of its share price. I wish you good business!

I think your the same person posting on the starcore board on ceo.ca under a different username. Honestly in my opinion your actively trying to mislead people who may stumble on these forums and to potentially harm them. Pathetic.

Do you speak for Semper-Recursos-Naturales-SA-de-CV ? Is Semper still interested ? https://www.newsfilecorp.com/company/8825/Semper-Recursos-Naturales-SA-de-CV . . . ( Starcore subsequently announced that it had not received an official takeover bid )
Comment by gpwild on Aug 19, 2024 6:33pm
I don't speak for anyone but myself.  Your an incessant pumper who posts under multiple usernames on different forums with often misleading information about this company that has had a horrible track record. You do this intentionally. Whatever your motives are (one could only speculate) it's pretty evil, IMO.
Comment by moorage on Aug 20, 2024 5:53am
Your bashing here is old-fashioned. There are more credible options - with demonstrable arguments - for such an approach. And secondly: where did I write misleading information ? .
Comment by moorage on Oct 10, 2024 9:56am
The shareprice increased 100 % since the end of July 2024. So this also works despite " the company has performed terribly and the management has done numerous shady things " ( gpwild wrote 8/5/2024 ). And... without any "constant pumpers ".
Comment by gpwild on Oct 20, 2024 1:51pm
The fact that the share price is up after the stock collapsed and made new all time lows in recent months in spite of record metal prices is nothing to brag about and is pathetic.
Comment by moorage on Oct 23, 2024 2:37am
Of course, we cannot be satisfied with the longer-term performance. My answer referred to your negative post of August 5, 2024 and the 100% increase in the share price since then.
Comment by gpwild on Oct 27, 2024 6:53pm
The long term, medium term and short term performace are all equally pathetic. The fact that the stock bounced after collapsing and making new all time lows in recent months is horrible. You are a pumper and intentionally trying to mislead people. Will you say on the record that you are not associated, employed or related to anyone at Starcore Mines? Thanks.
Comment by moorage on Oct 30, 2024 11:48am
I admit it, I have something in common with Starcore: . . . . . . . I've had a gold tooth in my mouth since I was a teenager. .
