SBC unit NAV now has surged to over 20$ !!

And of course SBC trading at a discount to NAV... meanwhile quadravest wannabes trading well below the threshhold are  trading at premiums.... no accounting for stupid , as they say in the funny papers.

Most of my money is in SBC in case the market tanks.  This will still pay dividends even if the banks drop 30%

Probably a sensible move , as SBC a very good value here, trading very near its NAV.... I have a bit in SBC , but the lions share in LBS, as it will still be OK for the next short while. I dont see the banks and lifecos heading south very fast, as bank earnings will be appearing next week, and i expect the Canadian banks to report good earnings on average. They are still trading much lower than ...more
