It’s not just a mining company anymore….and potentially more valuable as a critical materials or battery technology company.

Wow. A tech company?  As an offshoot of the process technology work, the company has also developed ion exchange (IX) technology and knowhow to recover scandium, cobalt, and other critical metals from solvent extraction (SX) raffinate and other acidic waste streams in certain acid leach operations of the copper mining process. If you want to attract investors you'll want a bit more ...more

SCY's CTO. Use him or he undoubtely knows knowledgable people in the space. Geesh! :) Mr. Duyvesteyn has more than 40 years of experience in the mining, mineral and energy industries. He is the founder and former CEO of TTS, a company involved in the development and commercialization of various mineral and energy related processes and projects. TTS was acquired by Scandium International in ...more

Look George I know you are doing the best you can, and I know you are slammed right now. I don’t expect you to become a communications expert - it’s not your bailiwick. The BOD needs to find the person to fulfill that role SCY You can’t do it all… SCY really needs to invest in themselves with a Director of Communications. But that was a good start. Thank you GP. The writer or interpreter was the ...more

Also forgot the mention, GP I and JK know of a YouTube channel that want to interview you about Scandium and SCY. I deffer to JK on this so talk wiyj him about what he thinks, They currently have over 32K subscribers, they only look at interviewing serious companies not scams. They are very reasonable and provide a supportive narrative and interview style. I think there should be some news to talk ...more

Any one reading that article would be be very confused after a follow up visit to SCY 's website where they would find nothing about batteries other than a 5 month old news release concerning a related patent application. It' would be very unimpressive for someone wanting to dip their toe in the sandiium market.

I found the conclusion of this ad quite interesting:” It’s not just a mining company anymore….and potentially more valuable as a critical materials or battery technology company.   What is GP trying to communicate here? I will try to put things a bit into perspective. The ‘new’ SCY will try to generate income from 4 sources (and it used to be 1)   1. Three scandium projects/mines ...more

Thanks alldutch. My concern is the company in your description does not resemble the one portrayed in the corporate presentation. Why? I have reached out to SCY and received nothing back. Why? The Scandium market is beginning to make some noise and the potential first mover remains silent. Why? Maybe the deal is already done.

Well since I posted those potential outcomes over a year ago it's certainly no surprise to me that your finally picking up on it now. But the question is why do the team of one at SCY not promote all those revenue streams? Why not even float them as potential revenue sources? Its as if they won’t talk about the upside here until the mine is producing, and a waste stream deal is done, and the ...more
