Financing takes at least 6 months

It's my believe that they are looking for a partner - not only for the development programs - but also for the CMR+HPA CapEx funding.

How long does it take to raise capital for a startup? Plan at least six months to open and close a round.

The Fundraising Process in Seven Simple Steps
1.    Gather your data on achievements and forecasting your financial needs
2.    Prepare your pitch deck
3.    Start reaching out to potential investors with your ask
4.    Attend investor meetings
5.    Field term sheets and proposals
6.    Survive the due diligence process
7.    Execute final documents and get money wired in

In July 2021 SCY updated their corporate presentation (step 2). Due diligence takes some time. The Phoenix deal with Barrick gives them a lot of credibility.

Financing will be completed in Q4, hopefully in October (which would be in 4 months).

Thank You. Stock doubles when announced. It's the "when" that's the question.

Especially due diligence may take some time. SCY asks for US 150M. The potential investor will hire an independent expert team to validate:   - the CMR and HPA patents (which are the basis for the sustainable competitive advantage), and other patents deemed relevant,  - SCY’s business plan, - CMR/HPA process designs (flowsheets) - the LOI with Barrick, - all the CMR + HPA cost ...more

150? I would think they would first look to raise 15 million first to initialte the hPA and CMR buildout and also to meet the LOI with NGM requirerments of 1.5-2.0 million. The work is going ahead at Phoenix right now while SCY arranges financing. This fact is also not priced in to the shares because mister silence deems this a strategic secret for some reason...

IMO, it's a 2 stage financing: the 1st stage is the 8M for development work; the 2nd stage the CAPEX financing. They are not separate processes.

Agree, but partnering which I think is the best strategy will take some time unless those deets were considered beforehand which I doubt with one guy doing ALL the work. Materion comes to mind. But there are a dozen potential fits.
