Thanks for sharing! Production and cashflow should be healthy for both Q4 and Q1: pre-Velvet they were minimally hedged and flush production from the winter drilling program will be coming into great prices for both AECO and oil/ngls. It looks like they're drilling 5 new wells on the Inception land (?) from the AER well applications. Looking forward to getting formal 2022 capex and production ...more

Thanks FT,  Yes... scotia has suggested that their Capex would run above 300M... which I think is fine given the production success and the prices of marginal unhedged production.  That said, I was in SDE when it was punished for purchasing Velvet and they moved from a net cash position to debt... and the Market seems to be very anxious about taking on too much growth.  That said ...more

Certainly regretting that sale today, amazing to see this finally take off. I added way too many shares after the Velvet deal knocked it down. They don't need to acquire any else yet: plenty of development opportunities in their portfolio, especially if those Gold Creek wells keep coming on like that, but they're going to be in an interesting position of being debt free sooner than ...more

Thanks for sharing FT.... I sold some SDE from my wife's account today...  remember... there will be another opportunity.  I am going to buy some more of Nuttal/s EFT. I find he performs better than most, but not all of my picks.  Buying after Velvet made a LOT of sense! I bought some more... but quite frankly, I got a bit gun shy, concerned that the stock would go too low ...more

SDE has had an incredible run lately but it's still relatively cheap: (this is from a report today on CR) I'm 200% energy right now, mostly (in order) Canadian gas: SDE, TOU, PIPE, KEL and then the associated midstreams KEY, TWM, PPL. I'm still working on my exit strategy, I'd like to de-lever slowly into strength this winter and hold onto dividend payers, but I know from ...more

Great information... thank you! We made some moves over the past couple of months to focus on SDE BIG time... but we also hold TOU, ARX and Nuttal's ETF NNRG.  We have been pivoting to income and hold another large chunk of DHT.UN... which has been repeatedly punished despite the 12% yield as a pharmaceutical royalty company.  Checki it out! Like SDE, the market does not know how to ...more

Here's a little gem for looking at for chits and giggles ridiculously cheap ITE, I3 Energy UK oil/gas company with excellent holdings in key Alberta gas plays, Montney etc. UK company's tend to ...more

GuidoSan1... we pulled back to 8.10-8.20 range today after hitting 8.60 first thing. Normal given resistence at 8.25 as you stated? I am trying to pick up some extra shares but it is not moving any further down even with oil down. Any insights? Will the resistence point of 8.25 take a while to confirm to an new uptrend to 11? This is likley the best oil/gas stock i own right now so i would like to ...more

12, more importantly what do you think? I'd like to respond from there, what are your targets etc.?

Thanks GS1. As I have stated before, the basic prior BXE assets and infrastruture - when purchased in June '20 at .20/$1 - could have easily taken the price to here (8 range). SDE was trackng up towards 8 over time BEFORE the velvet transaction (I think it was around 6.30 when annonced in July '21). So this range is not surprising with that info as backdrop and the E&P lift since then. ...more

Good day Gents, appreciate the info and comments. So for chits and giggles here is a sister company comparison for another speculative view on SDE price potential, the numbers are eerily very similar. Paramount vs Spartan (including velvet) (Other similars include PIPE, NVA and PEY) Important Comparable Hilites: Current share price                  ...more
