does anyone think a mid tier producer  would offer to just buy goldboro, just like monarch sold wasamac.
Not many mid teir or majors want the smaller point rousse operations. 

What would be a good selling price?

I suspect potential buyers of ANX or just Goldboro are waiting for the Goldboro Feasibility Study coming out in the fall to see the value of Phase 1 of Goldboro (just open pits). I suspect they will be reviewing that report and be ready to pounce when the subsequent Environmental / Mining Permit is in hand.  May be too early/risky at this point (as reflected by the current share price).  ...more

I think it is open to a sudden offer. I agree with goldnhill that typically it would happen with more i's dotted and t's crossed, but it could happen at a lower price for them now. Having the full PEA released will help, as will this rumored site visit. The wasamac situation was almost a given as yamana owned a big chunk already. I dont know of any miners owning big chunks of anaconda ...more
