Bankers

Let me ask all of you. If i was an institution and wanted to buy 5M shares, how much might that cost me, by the time I fill the order? How high does the price get to, if just BUY? How much can I afford to lose a couple of pennies at a time (buying and selling 500 shares at a time) (BTW, who buys 100or 500 shares) and keeping the price stable? What would you do if you wanted to buy 5M shares? 10 years I've been waiting. No tax loss selling, unless you bought that 1 week this year it went above current prices. Then who risks the windfall (that can happen anyday now to March), to save a couple of dollars in tax??? Banker, they have us by the B*!!$.
Just my 2 cents.

Someone is deliberately trying to keep price down. With all the good news coming, why would anyone sell. My guess is Bankers, institutions, or other players keeping price down for a cheap buy of one or all of our properties.(my guess, in the next 3-6 months). Whats your price???

THE entire gold mining sector, especially the juniors, are all undervalued right now. To accumulate 5M shares when the average volume is around 100k or less takes a long time. The bigger investors prefer private placementa with warrants or flow through shares. I don't think there is much manipulation happening with ANX. It's just in a corner of the market no one has been paying attention ...more

I bought another 11,5 k this week. We have almost no attention from the market! But we are holding our shares tight. We would not sell them to easy because we accumulated them over many and many years. So I think if we would get an offer this offer should at least be 3,50 CAD for each share at the moment. When we get better production results from next year and then the further steps of Goldboro ...more

Same here.  I still have some ca$h available to buy another 20k.  I'm just waiting to see if I can average down the 20k I bought 2 weeks ago at 70 cents. But in this tax loss period, there are also other opportunities right now so I might shop elsewhere too!  I'm patient.

I think we may see more downside until Jan 1 when Basil 3 kicks in in London. Anaconda has actually stood up well compared to oters like ESK and NFG, but all gold stocks under attack now. At some point I think there will be a massive short squeeze in gold stocks generally. Could hopefully be ths month.

Basel III was supposed to kick in in London on Jan 1.  But guess what happened....   https://www.reuters.com/world/china/britain-carves-out-exemption-gold-clearing-banks-basel-iii-rule-2021-07-09/

It is my impression that Europe rejected the extension and Basel III is back on. However, nothing surprises me in this business.

So let me ask everyone, especially the regulars. What are we willing to sell at? My guess is someone is trying to depress the stock to lower our expectations. IMHO, this stock is worth $7-10 per share with the current DFS (it will only get better as the mining starts). So when that offer to steal this from week hands comes....whats our number??? If they can keep it below $.75, a $1.50/share will ...more

Just wondering, would red flags come up with SEDAR if they were recycling shares to keep price where it is, or lower? If legit...how many shares do these people have to liquidate? We have too much upside, for anyone to unload (IMHO). Maybe margin calls???? Any Thoughts?
Comment by VillaManya on Feb 04, 2022 11:12am
If it's a margin call it won't be because of Anaconda - shares are usually eligible for margin only when their price is >$3.  So no-one is securing any margin with ANX stock............
Comment by longagau2 on Feb 04, 2022 12:31pm
If someone bought at 60 cents a week or two ago and now it is 76, that's a 25+ percent profit.  A lot of people would be happy with that.  While ANX might not be purchased on margin, people might need to sell everythign to pay off margin calls on other accounts.  I don't see much fishy in the last week of upward movement.  There has been good volume and harder to ...more
