Today’s announced guidance is an impressive turnaround for Point Rousse and reflects very well on Anaconda’s operational team. The 21.5-23.0koz guided is a 78-91% increase on 2021 and a 13% increase over our prior estimates. Even better, we forecast C$11.5m of FCF generated in 2022, which can be used to fund further resource definition, as well as permitting and exploration work at Goldboro ...more

I have to agree with DDD, there must be some special effort to keep share price down for future negotiations. I can't see professional analysists making, what are usually (but let say not so) conservative predictions of the share price. Sprott upped to $2.50 and Raymond James starting at $1.30. Yet the price is going the other way, no matter what the news. Don't say tax selling, or gold ...more

1. Manipulation down for buyout or share price possible. 2. Gold and miners wayyy down lately. 3. Lots of people getting hammered in the market last few weeks margin calls, inflation, less stimulus etc. Means some may have ahd to take some out. 4. As the years progress, less and less people like us who invest in individual stocks. More people buying index funds etc. 5. Lassonde curve position of ...more

I meant manipulation for buyout or flow through shares.

I feel that Sprott is the leak. Wonder who those almost 4M shares were listening to?????
Comment by longagau2 on Feb 06, 2022 2:09pm
A leak would come from something like a driller, a lab or with a bank, acquiring company or legal group involved with negotiations for either financing or a takeover.   While all of that would make it illegal to buy shares based on this information, it happens. Seeing Morgan Stanley on the list, (while it may very well just be an individual investor like you or I but with a whack of ...more

In case anyone missed this a couple of weeks ago. Worth reading, so we don't take our eye off reality. https://t.co/jsIUUZnpPF

https://sprott.com/media/4734/220118-anx-scp-4q21-prodn.pdf Keeping it real. Anyone know if Spott knows what they're talking about? or is this an infomercial?

My guess is the institution(s) trying to accumalate will let go of 20-30k to shake some shares, to shake off  from weak hands. I expect this will be knocked down to $.80 in next few days. There are no shares to be had, unless they can convince Kevin to sell some FT shares. As they play their games, I'm holding tight to my shares. All good news ahead, we're entering interesting times ...more

Weak hands?  Perhaps there are still some weak hands out there (we all have our price) but I think they got cleared a bit at the 54-70 levels with 10M shares traded from December 10th to January 31st.

If we see the morgan stanley accumulator strategically selling off some shares to hold the price down and still accumulate, this would be suggestive of big player trying to build big position. If we see ongoing accumulation without such small sales, likely big positive news coming and a rush to get in before it breaks.

I agree, except you said it better. I had noticed that if they want to hit all the bids, it would only take 20-30k shares to bring it down to $.80. Then they could buys it all back. Hopefully the other senario.

With close to a million shares trading today, there may be new shareholders who haven't see this (then again maybe they have). Sorry to those that have. Worth reading, so we don't take our eye off reality. https://t.co/jsIUUZnpPF
