Contract Mining

Kevin mentioned contract mining in the most recent Crux investor video. Does anyone know of other examples of this in Canada/USA? I see it is done sometimes in Africa. It is an interesting idea as it would lower capex (don't need to buy trucks and equipment) but would likely increase operating costs as the contractor would take a profit. Anyone know of companies doing this that could provide service to Nova Scotia? If it works out right would make Goldboro even easier to get funded.
