Stog'er Tight

Problem is, Stog'er Tight has been touted as the solution to keeping the mine going. The drill results looked great. Suddenly, they are shutting the mine down. What changed? Gold looks like it is about to take off. Is there a gold price where this project becomes viable again? I think that somebody will buy this for a song. Hmmm!

My guess is they are leveling the books for the NFLD operation and setting up for a financing without any questions to answer from the NFLD operation that has not been performing as of late.  Maybe too risky to go after Stog'er Tight given the track record presented by Argyle.  Stog'er will require startup costs and dewatering of camp pond (expensive)...then mine and do they have ...more

I would say No...Goldboro will be processing 4000 tonnes a day...NFLD mill is only capable of processing somewhere south of 1400 tonnes/day....not big enough. They could perhaps dismantle some of the NFLD mill components and using the deep water port they have to barge some of the expensive mill parts over to Goldboro to reduce Goldboro mill construction costs...so that may be possible IF they ...more

The press release on the nfld shutdown also included the stoger tight details.  Basically an advertisement for the nfld assets for sale.  Would be a good buy for a mid tier to pick up sgnl nfld assets and MAE at the same time.  This sale would also potentially make a great start to goldboro financing for sgnl.  Hopefully it gets done soon and at a fair price so the nfld mill ...more
